What to do if ........ happens on the river

Firstly please stay calm and collected. Don't fight back however tempting.

Please Remember that:

• No official body can do anything in the absence of formal complaint or record - there are many hearsay accounts of incidents - these are irrelevant in the absence of proper reports and witnesses.
• No one user group is perfect - an awful lot of the problems experienced are certainly aggravated by ignorance and arrogance, and some are simply caused by this. All users must show tolerance and consideration - it is amazing how much a few words, or a simple apology, can do to defuse potentially problematic situations.
